***NCAA does not add the Essay section of the SAT for eligibility, only count your Math and Critical Reading***

Eligibility Rules

Division I

· Must take 16 core courses (see chart)

· Uses a sliding scale for GPA and Test Scores (SAT or ACT)

· Critical Reading and Math scores are only used from the SAT test.

· The sum of the reading, math, science and English are used from the ACT Test

Division II

· Must take 14 core courses (see chart)

· Does not use a sliding scale. Minimum GPA = 2.000

· Minimum score on the SAT is 820 on the verbal and math sections.

· Minimum sum score for the ACT is 68.
